Our Story

It’s worth crying over.

Spilt Milk is an independent Dublin ice cream shop based on Drury Street, handcrafting small-batch ice cream from scratch in our own kitchen. We take the nostalgia of traditional ice cream and give it a creative, modern twist inspired by our city, the seasons, and the people around us.

Our flavours are designed to be familiar, playful, and a little unexpected. Some lean into childhood memories, others push you gently out of your comfort zone. Every scoop is homemade using high quality ingredients and recipes we have developed ourselves in-house.

Made in Dublin, with Irish ingredients

As an Irish-run business, buying local isn’t a trend for us, it’s the way we work. We source ingredients from our neighbours on Drury Street and work with Irish brands and producers wherever possible, including Harry’s Nut Butter and local suppliers across the country.

Our ice cream is made using rich Jersey milk from one of only twelve Jersey herds in Ireland, giving it the creamy texture and depth of flavour we are known for. We rotate flavours regularly based on seasonality, availability, and what our customers are loving most.

While ice cream is at the heart of what we do, Spilt Milk has grown into a place for treats of all kinds. From açaí bowls and baked goods to coffees and hot desserts, everything we serve follows the same rule: make it properly, use great ingredients, and make it something worth coming back for.
